


I’ve officially accepted the fact that our family will probably never take a completely normal photo together.
And honestly?
That’s probably what makes our memories even funnier.
We visited Sky Ranch Tagaytay recently, fully intending to take nice family pictures like normal people.
But somehow, our family photos always end up becoming chaotic in one way or another.
Someone laughs too early.
Someone moves suddenly.
Someone looks distracted.
Or we all end up doing something random instead of posing properly.
And honestly?
I wouldn’t even change it anymore.
This particular moment perfectly summarized us.
Completely unserious.
A little chaotic.
Very playful.
Very real.
Watching my son enjoy the attractions and random little activities throughout the day honestly made the trip feel worth it already.
Children really don’t care about perfect photos.
They care about fun memories.
And I think adults should remember that more often too.
Lately, life has felt emotionally overwhelming in many ways again.
So days where we simply laugh together, wander around, and make silly memories honestly matter more to me now than perfectly curated moments.
Years from now, I probably won’t remember whether we took aesthetic family photos.
But I know I’ll remember how much we laughed that day.
And honestly?
That feels more important.
