Today’s capability demonstration with our medical company made me reflect on how differently I view strength now compared to before.
There was a time when I thought strength only meant pushing through exhaustion and proving capability constantly.
But life changes the way people understand strength over time.
Now, strength also feels like:
- balancing multiple responsibilities
- caring for people consistently
- staying emotionally present
- continuing to grow while remaining compassionate
- showing up even during difficult seasons
Celebrating Mother’s Day while being surrounded by people committed to service and teamwork also felt meaningful today.
Because many women quietly carry responsibilities both at home and outside of it every single day.
Mothers continue showing up:
- for family
- for work
- for communities
- for people who rely on them
even while carrying their own exhaustion and responsibilities too.
And that kind of strength deserves recognition.
Today also reminded me how grateful I am for every role life allowed me to experience.
Being a mother.
A nurse.
A soldier.
A volunteer.
Each role shaped me differently, but all of them taught me the importance of compassion, resilience, and responsibility.
And maybe that’s one of the most beautiful things about adulthood.
People slowly grow into stronger versions of themselves through the responsibilities, experiences, and people they continue choosing to care for every day.
