I think I spend too much time focusing on everything I haven’t accomplished yet.
The habits I still can’t maintain.
The routines I still struggle with.
The goals I haven’t reached yet.
And because of that, I forget to notice smaller progress happening quietly in the background.
Getting through difficult days.
Choosing healthier meals sometimes.
Finishing tasks I kept postponing.
Actually resting when I need to.
Those things count too.
Maybe not in dramatic ways, but they still matter.
I think social media makes progress look bigger and more obvious than it actually is.
But real life growth feels slower.
Messier.
More repetitive.
Sometimes progress is just surviving a difficult week without completely giving up on yourself.
Sometimes it’s trying again after failing repeatedly.
Lately, I’ve been trying to appreciate smaller victories more.
Not every improvement has to completely change your life to matter.
Sometimes tiny progress is still progress.
And honestly, I think I need to remind myself of that more often.
